The restaurant "Auguste" in Propiac, the pretty restauirant of the ***Hotel Logis Le Plantevin ... a gourmet stopover in an exceptional site.

In the authentic environment of this pretty family home in the Drôme Provençale, Le Plantevin proposes a beautiful gourmet stop just minutes from Vaison-La-Romaine, Buis-Les-Baronnies or Nyons.

Under the benevolent shade of century-old lime trees from its terrace or in its elegant dining room with panoramic views of Mont Ventoux, you are invited to try the tasty cooking of the Chef. In the kitchen, it is indeed Christophe Auguste who pursues the family culinary tradition. The name of the restaurant is a tribute to his predecessors. Just like his ancestors, farmers and winemakers, Christophe is very attached to the rurality and the generous terroir of his region.

And it shows ! Each season has its own flavors ...

Through the seasons, in an eco-friendly approach respectful of the environment, he works with beautiful fresh and very local produce, available within a radius of less than 60 kms. He uses his experience gained in renowned houses, in France and abroad, to bring his contemporary touch to the tasty family recipes drawn from the books written by the generations of cooks who preceded him.

And that gives nice surprises around pretty dishes: soup with pistou of his great-grandfather Germain, leg of lamb of Provence cooked in the wood fire with its garlic foam, tart with figs from the garden and fresh mint. ..

And to compliment and enhance all these dishes, 80% of the wines on the menu are organic.
